Everyone please remind me not to take any notice of weather forecasters in the future. Shagged tyres (expecting dry conditions) + wet and greasy oulton = very sideways.
Mostly fun, but not always!
thanks to all the usual suspects, mellow, gaz@cpp, dale, john, sillysi, adge etc. for making the day an ace success. also thanks to graeme, hazel and all at track-action / warrender for organising it.
standard of driving was pretty good, as usual, and I think i'm right in saying a great time was had by all.
Will post some photos and maybe some video tomorrow all being well.
cheers guys,
simon
ps it was also excellent, not just exceelent (sorry for the typo in the title!)

Hi folks Graeme here from track-action .
A big thankyou from myself & the Track-Action team to all who attended todays slippy slidy day at Oulton Park,
A big comment from ourselves and the Oulton Park staff was that the driving standards today were excelent .
The one person that entertained me was the chap in the yellow scoob,as we entered Druids the red fiesta in front of me spun ,i went left to avoid it the white evo behind me went right and the yellow scoob spun to avoid it,the look on his face was a real treat to behold, well done for missing it.
Hopefully we will see you once again at Oulton on the 17th Dec for our final track day of the year, its a very cheep day out for you guys,so see you there.
P.S. can you please book your place on line at www.track-action.co.uk if you get any problems you can contact our Hazel on 07887746760 or my self Graeme on 07976 726351,all the best see you there . GRAEME.

It was a great day, good to see everyone. I never knew driving in the rain could be so much fun.
As usual driving standards were excellent which seems to be the norm on all Track-Action days I have attended, keep it up guys. I especially enjoyed following the 22B with the lovely flaming exhaust!
Mellow, hope you did not get to wet watching from the banking
December the 17th mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Top day out, even though I didn't drive.
Great to meet everyone, esp. Si and Adj. Didn't even mind the wet weather. Hopefully I'll get the photos developed this week and get them posted.
Nice friendly people and some great action (esp. Gaz getting his nearside wheel on the grass at knickerbrook and having a 'moment').
Hopefully be there on the 17th, maybe blag some passenger rides
Chris, I take it the cossie didn't make it back on the track? (I left before the end, last I saw was the dash in pieces).
Cheers
Dave (the bloke with the still wet mizuno wolly hat sitting on the radiator).

Had a great day even if it rained all day.
Great to meet all those that went.
Si glad you enjoyed the flames, great these ALS systems , anyone get any pictures?
Mellow must be running out of money these days, getting a cheap cossie then saving petrol by watching us scooby boys go round and round from the side of the track

Hi folks, some photos up and viewable at http://www.btinternet.com/~dave_adams_uk/
I've had to scan them in (no digital camera yet) so theres only 9 at the moment. A few more to come as I scan them in. Click on the thumbnails for larger images (they are quite heavy, I didn't want to compress them too much and reduce the size as bigger is better imho). Unfortunatley there is a lack of action shots, as my camera sucks and can't zoom in very well. I'll blag a proper one for the 17th
Feel free to grab any of the pictures from the site if you want a copy. I've removed numberplates as a precaution. let me know if you've any queries/requests etc.
Cheers

Just like to thank you guys for being patient with me as I got the std uk scoob steadily round those slippy corners - my first session since my big off at Donno - so maybe not ideal conditions, but great fun all the same!!
If it was an endurance race I'd have whooped Mellow's ***
See you on the 17th.
