Rain gives me a better chance against big bhp & the scoob seems to launch best when it does rain as it allows an initial slip to the wheels which somehow means that grip is enhanced ( ) but that was what appeared to come out from REVS scoobs vs cossies...
Rain makes tire changing a PITB What you driving Redkop or just a speccy? I'll recognise Cola

Is the track that rough?
Tho should be fun, despite my car misfiring like a heap of **** just drove thru a swimming pool, and wrecked the points.
Mate should be there too, if he can get another diff, it kindly **** itself on friday. Why do they always blow up 3 days before an event??????????

Is it just you going Puff or is the wife coming for the ride?
If so I expect shes going to be doing the driving on the Sunday
Edited to say the concrete at Elvington is grippier than any tarmac race track Ive ever seen. I think its actually got glass particles in it! Racing a bike in the rain on road legal tyres around there you can STILL get your knee down!!!!!! Its AMAZING!!!!!!!!
lots of ! there....I'll have to be more careful

I have 2 sets of SO2's, the knackered ones are going on irespective.
If you look at the layout, the handling course looks quite small and tight as they are using the runways for the drag runs, plenty of handbrake turns i would think.
It should be more of a level playing field compared to last time Scott! Should be fun!

Helmets are required, and full clothing. ie, no bare arms, or maybe they meant no nudity??
FFS, does this mean Im goin to have to buy tyres before I go?? What is the surface of the actual runway/dragstrip like?

I think you will only kill your tyres on the handling circuit, so just do as many laps as what you are comfortable with
I think the drag strip will only leave clutches and gearboxes on it

Bookatrack have a track day for the Sat - it's not fully booked and they might allow people to have 20 mins sessions in the afternoon for about £25.00 if you dont wanna book the whole day. Also its gives the weather forecast for Sunday and its gonna be a nice sunny day
