Saw a news item in autosport this week about an 'On Track' track day accident involving a Subaru and injuring both driver and instructor passenger - was it some one from on here ?
I hope that injuries are not serious to all concerned.
Any news ?

 

Rob Mac knows the Instructor that was in the car. It wasn't an Impreza, it was an Evo.

A big off on a 100mph+ bend, so not very nice. The car went off onto the in field, so it sounds like lift off oversteer that then caught and gripped. I'll bet the yaw control was enabled!!

Driver air lifted to hospital, instructor sent by road ambulance and both had to be cut out.

A timely reminder that these days should be FUN and not a case of pushing it beyond the limits of car and driver.

 

Have Subarus ever collided with another on track, or just the tyre walls etc?

I'm not aware of any inter-car collisions at any SIDC track events.
