Default rear noise, not shocks

I have a very odd noise which started a couple of days ago and it seems to be getting worse very quickly. its not a knock as such, more of a hard twang if that makes sense..imagine someone hitting a shock spring with a rubber hammer. only seems to do this when moving slowly (under 20mph) does it more on change of direction.

parts fitted are:
BC BR coilovers
whiteline 22mm anti roll bar
whiteline adjustable drop links
whiteline rear diff bushes and front diff bushes
rear strut brace

ive tugged on the roll bar just incase one of the mounts has snapped but it seems ok..

anything else it could be? any other bushes that are common to go? its a 2005 sti sidetrack BTW.

I had a similar issue with my front under full lock, it turned out that my top mount had gone dry. Needed to spray some white lithium grease into the top mount and that sorted it right away, been fine for the last 4 months now

I think i had two issues, my top mounts were sort of creaking and i was getting a twang, have your nuts checked for the correct torque, mine were overtight so backed off and then had no more noise.

yes this was about 1 month after i fitted coilovers

just found all the torque settings.

right, so far Im going to do the following.

Remove ARB and fit stout mounts and new drop links (even though they are only 4 months old)
check all diff mounting points and check all subframe bushes and bolts are tight.
remove tention on coils, check springs, remove tophats, clean and regrease spherical bearings then reset preload and retorque everything back down.

if that dont fix it then ive no idea what it could be!

Got the very same problem on mine. The OS rear drop link bolt between the link and arb keeps coming loose. I think it needs a nyloc on there to stop it.

How tight should it be? I think I must be nearly at the shear point now as its as tight as I can physically get it.
