Default Impreza classic shocks

Hi,

I have a MY00 Uk turbo and as I need new springs have decided to replace the standard shocks as well.

Looking at KYB they list:

Excel G - OE replacements
AGX - Adjustable but cost £500-£600

They also do Ultra SR which seem to be aimed between the two. Has anyone fitted these to a classic? I keep seeing them for newage but not classic and KYB online catalogue is useless.

What other options are there for new shocks for the classic as apparently the Koni shock/spring kit is discontinued?

What lowering springs should I go for as I take it the P1 Eibachs are no longer available new?

The H&R springs seem to get good feeback but they state they lower 50mm front/rear which is too much

The car is on newage 17" STI wheels and want a nice setup for fast road, occasional santa pod use.

The AGX are pretty much the best you can get for the classic.

Thanks, any ideas on the best springs to go with them? Heard the Eibachs are a bit bouncy and soft

Eibach Pro springs are great. Especially when paired with some uprated anti-roll bars. There are some softer Eibach springs though, so make sure you go Pro.

Some people say they are too soft unless you get P1 Eibachs but they are no longer made.

Does anyone have these on a UK model?
