Recently noticed the front tyres on my 02wrx down to 2mm on the inner shoulders at just 4k miles. Outer edges 5mm but surface has deep fine cracks, clearly not right.
Rears 6mm and even wear.
Thing is tha car drove fine but I took it for 4wheel lazer alignment (£70) at tyre dealer as recommended by my dealer(they use 'em)
Found most things ok but passenger side front caster -1.05 (outside tollerances so adjusted (now -.30)
Problem is car feels wrong now, heavy steering and wanders slightly to the left
My 01wrx wore all 4 tyres evenly and I've been on same road, same tyre pressures etc.
Also printout says impreza sedan 95-00.
Can't be the same for new car, surely?
I'm taking it back but I'd appreciate suggestions so I can arm myself with the facts!
Can anyone provide me with the recommended tollerances?

Wink

On a standard car in my experience wear on the inside is caused by toe out. Have you kerbed the car? If not should this be a warranty issue. My M/Y 00 is currently set at 1mm total toe in on the front.
