Do these d2 do dampnig?
Hi there
You don't have D2 coilovers, but you are running/have HSD HR which we are running there
For adjusting damping you will need,go underneath the car and on the bottom shock you can adjust them

They're OK,great on the track or B-Roads if they're set right

Thanks again, I see what you mean now. I had the tracking done a couple of weeks ago and all seemed fine, but now it seems to pull to the right slightly, will get it checked. Can you recommend good settings for the road and track use, I don't do many miles. Appreciate your help by the way
Hi there
For road we have set now 12 clicks, which is good more for track like for road,on the road this damping setting is firm(for more road settings I would go with 3 or 4 clicks)
For best from them you will need goo alignment as on every coilovers, many prefer more aggressive camber settings, just search here over best alignment settings,Arnie and few others posted their settings

Everything really depends from tyres what you will be running,we have set at -2.00 at front and -1.5 at rear
I would suggest have look on camber bolts at front and rear, with those you will gain on the camber adjustment and second bit, have search over here on the rotating top mounts for gaining more castor

Jura. Thought I'd ask, unsure wether you would know. I've been offered a set of shocks and springs off a 95n 555 Sti. Would that be a step back in performance? The shocks are black not the red ones.
Quick update. You know the picture of my left strut should it be the same on both sides? The smaller bolts that I think adjust the camber are spaced differently on my right strut.
Really depends what springs and what shocks are,if they're just normal stock shocks, they will be step back in therm of performance,in riding comfort this combo will be improvement
Jura
Yes we have same setting on both shocks(both small bolts are in same place or I think)
Will check tomorrow and post the picture if this helps

Cheers Jura appreciate the reply. The ones on my right shock are spaced differently, further apart? Why would they be different on the other side?

I'm not 100% sure for what reason are there those bolts, but I think those small bolts are there for adjusting castor or camber

Thanks. I just would assume they would/should be the same on both sides? I'm trying to solve the slight issue in the thread below and wondered if this may be the cause. I also don't know why I keep saying they are d2 coilovers when they are not lol.
