Hi I've been offered some 2002 bug eye springs and want to find out if they would fit my 1999 uk classic ?.
The seller said they will but I'm not sure
They are prodrive springs
Also would they lower the car much
Any advice please
Thanks

I've been down that road the other way round and it's a real headache mate. As Jura mentioned the rear top mounts are different on the bugeye. It's the other way about but I still had my classic when I got my bug and wanted to swap the lowering springs from the classic to my new bug but it wasn't happening. The bug has rear top mounts which are totally different from anything before or after. I just couldn't get the springs to seat correctly. You could maybe do it if you swap the top mounts over from the bug as the bug springs are a different shape at the top but when I did it I remember thinking that it didn't look like the top mounts would fit. In my case it seemed easier to buy the correct springs for my model which you might find as well.
