Hawkeye WRX dampers
Hi
I have a 2006 Hawkeye WRX with knocking rear shocks, which I'm looking to replace.
I have pretty much ruled out going down the coilover route as the roads round here are not the best and I think they would be just too harsh.
After reading a few threads here the most logical route seems to be going for the KYB route.
1st option would be KYB Excell G plus the stock WRX springs, which would give a similar ride to how the car would have been when new?
2nd option, KYB Ultra SR dampers (which should give a firmer STi like ride?) with either STi springs or perhaps Prodrive ones?
I cant really lower the car much, snow in winter time, plus the car isn't always on a tarred road!
If I'm upgrading springs / dampers would it make sense to upgrade things like anti roll bars? Drop links? Bushes?
