Default Strut knocking

I've just purchased a set of STi shocks from Matt at pole position which he says are good with no knocking, however it is my intention to strip them and fit the grease nipple mod to keep on top of this potential problem. My question is tho- is it only the rear shocks that suffer from this knocking, or do the fronts too? I've only ever read about problems with the rears??

It's the rears due to the angle of the strut.

Nope no need on the fronts. Won't hurt though if you've got nothing better to do!
