Default Bottom arms/lateral links, differences between years/models?

Hi guys

Can anyone confirm please what control rear arms/lateral links (same thing aren't they?) are suitable to fit straight on a classic?

Is it right that from a certain year onwards (05 maybe?) that they are different?

And the same info for trailing arms would be great too if poss.

I have very manky ones that could do with replacing so i want to check what's compatible with a classic.

Many thanks!
Jim

Cheers for that - very helpful. Is that the same for the trailing arm as well, or just the pair of control arms on each side?

Not sure what the craic is here, but I've seen a set of adjustable control arms and it says they're suitable for 95-07 fitment (they're in the US), so that would presumably cover both the classic and new age models?

Classic only I'd expect 93-00 or 93-01, and new age to be something like 01-06 with the hatchbacks being 06/07 or so.
Apologies if I'm offending anyone if this is wrong!!

Is it likely that the US versions of the cars are different in this respect, or that the adjustability factor of these arms is enough to cover the difference in length between classic & newage models or something?

I'll email them and ask, but I can only guess there's just a small difference in the length between the 2 variations and these adjustable ones can fit either. That's assuming the length is the only difference and the fittings at each end are still the same?
