Default Parts to fit with coilovers to get best handling performance?

Hello there i have a 2005 impreza sti. I have recently purchased a set of HSD coilovers as the rear struts devepoed the dreaded clunking noise and i just had to change them...

Anyway, i was wandering what other suspension parts could be fitted with the coilovers to get best possible handling performance? E.g polybushes? anti rollbars? etc

Any help much appreciated

Lewis

Hi Lewis

Personally I would recommend adjustable ARB's front and rear and Apex/WhiteLine Roll centre kit, solid droplinks

Yes will make l difference,if you are lowering the car would add the roll centre kit

Here is link on the Apex Kit

http://www.apexperformance.co.uk/cat...e36c45e516f73]

And here on the WhiteLine

http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/...TMENT_KIT.html

Droplinks and ARB is good and probably most used upgrade on the Impreza, this is real worth

thanks for the info. Yes i want to lower the car a fair bit, want it sitting around 40mm lower than standard, want it to handle like it on rails with no body roll.

Both kits talk about roll centre. what exactly is that? Would the car handle awfully if i dont fit these 2 items, as they are both fairly pricey, the coilovers were enough on their own!

Cheers

If you are thinking lower more than 25-30mm you will need fit this Roll centre correction kit

What is Roll centre this should help you to understand what is it

or this

Agreed is expensive to buy,but in my view is worth to have,we are bought and really transformed handling on our car

very interesting read, i had no idea about the subject before reading that. Looks like im going to have to purchase one of these kits, probably the apex kit as its significantly cheaper than the whiteline kit.

Thanks for you advice Jura

I have the whiteline kit because the Apex kit was out of stock at the time, I have since seen the Apex kit and it looks considerably better than the whiteline stuff
