Default handling improvements on a sport

currently got new kyb shocks with sti springs fitted all round, and im considering having lowering springs fitted, at the mo id say the ride is slightly bouncy which im told is down to the springs, so what would it be like with lowered ones, anyone recomend which ones to get(going on a blobeye)...car also has 18" alloys

Eibach's are good, I have these fitted to my wrx blobeye, lowers the car just nicely so that the wheel arch is covered with about an inch gap with 18" wheels, gives it a nice sporty profile. i am after a set of shockers, as still running factory stock.

First two things you should do is get a decent rear anti roll bar and fit some decent brakes as the sport ones are shocking.

Which KYB shocks and which STi springs? If the ride is bouncy, its possible the springs are too stiff for your shocks.

Hey mate as above the Eibach's are great handling springs and lets the car sit lovely but as said an anti roll bar would help stiffen things up. Get in touch if you want any prices on springs or whitline items you get discount

will a set of KY ULTRA Shockers cure the bounce problem. mine is a bit like that, got the Eibach springs to lower the car but never changed the stock shockers.

If you don't know the basics, why are you offering technical advice?

Well there's 2 bits of advice.

Now get off your high horse and don't make yourself look like a fool.

If you read the thread then you will see I have offered some advice.

Anyway, BOT lowering springs could give you a stiffer ride but they can also make it less stiff. It will all depend on the spring rate of your springs before and after.

You have only proved one point through your ignorance, that is, Light travels faster than sound. This is why you appear bright until you speak.

Thanks for that insight.

You almost made a point in that post. All I can see is you know almost nothing about cars.

....I see, so your know trying to attack my knowledge about cars, so what if I don't know anything about cars, and you claim to know everything, is that right, that's probably why you sound so big headed, Mr Know All.
If I ever need a brain transplant, I'd choose yours because I'd want a brain that had never been used before.

Another approach is to look into an anti lift kit. If you'd like to keep the comfort.
