Default Lowering springs fitment

alright guys just a quick one I've recently brought some springs for the car I've lowered several cars in the past so I'm pretty handy with the spanners was just wondering how difficult scoobys are is there anythin more difficult than any other car only thing that i can see different to what ive done before is the rear springs are in the strut never done suspension like that before its always been independant springs on the rear lol it's a bugeye wrx btw so maybe someone could point me to a guide or a how to

nice one mate seems fairly straight forward i think the most pain looks like taking the rear seatbelt assembly out but im sure i can over come this lol glad to see you can just undo the struts rather than hammering the hub to make it drop out lol

its pretty straight forward. the most awkward part is undoing belt as you say.
took me 4.5 hours all round and im a retard when it comes to messing with cars lol.

Well got them fitted all went ok but I now have like a clonking sound Comin from the front every timeI hit a bump sounds like a metal on metal sort of clonk also when the rear is in the air the springs are mega loose like worrying loose the springs weren't marked so I sort of had to guess which way round they went I put the longer ones on the front and shorter ones on the back is this right I compared them to the standard ones and they looked the same height etc

Something def not right there the springs should not be loose once bolted to the struts.

if i were you id be checking that the springs are firstly seated correctly and that the awkward allen key bolt is tight.

Ye all seated fine and the main bolt was mega tight I'm going to my mates garage tonight to see if we can spot anythin also the back of the car has gone down a hell of a lot more than the front which is also weird

Shorter springs go on the front.

TIme to get the spanners out.

haha i knw we found that out last night oops pmsl its sitting much better now all springs in tight etc but still have a slight knock when hitting a bump gonna take it all apart again next week lol
