Default Lowering on springs

I have a set of -30mm eibach springs to fit to my classic, apart from getting the tracking done once fitted is there anything else I should look for or any future problems I may encounter

Thanks mark

If you are lowering you will need a full geometry set up, as the car is lowered you will find that negative wheel camber will increase, this in turn will alter your tracking on both the front and rear wheels, you wil also find that the thrust angle will also change, bite the bullet and have it set up correctly

I'd also get some new top mounts too if your old 1s mayb a lil perished on a more used car . But tbh think they should be fine with just the all wheel track set up but nowt wrong with a lil neg camber lol

Just had this done to my car...... Kyb excel g's with eibach 30mm springs. It's like a new car! Although my rear springs and shocks were completly shot!

Car appears to look higher! But i think this is due to the rear springs being the origionals (12years old).

I then had the geometry set up by Subaru4u. £67 I think it cost.

Remember you will need to disconnect brake lines, mine had to be disconnected at the calliper so I needed new washers really, might be a good time to do a fluid change also.

Brake line fixing on the strut body can be 'split' rather than disconnecting the line and having to re-bleed

yeh didnt really want to start cutting brackets and i had to fit rear discs/pads anyway, so thought i would bleed and change brake fluid at the same time, doesnt take long to do if you have a mate to help
