Let me get this straight. You have STi rear struts/springs but bug eye front struts/springs?

bug eye, blob and hawk eye STi springs will fit the WRX bug strut. However, while the physically wil mount fine, they will be too much spring for WRX dampers. In other words you'll be underdamped. If you have original bug eye struts, you'll probably be seriously underdamped.

Your current issue, however, is that you have a much stiffer sprung and damped rear suspension compared to front. This will lead to pretty poor balance.

Cheap fix is to find a set of used bug eye or blob eye(pre 05) STi struts and spring and mount them up front. You could also get just the STi springs and pair them with some front KYB AGX's and adjust to suit.
