Default Meister R's on a Type R....are they adjustable?

I have recently purchased a v5 sti type r with meister r coilovers. These must have been the first edition as they dont have the damper adjustable **** under the bonnet and in the boot.

From what i can see with the wheel off, is that the spring is under a preloaded tension which seems to be adjustable, will adjusting this allow the ride to be a little more comfortable as right now it seems as though its set up for track use! Just want it to be more acceptable for the road without bouncing everywhere.

Anybody else got any experience with this setup?

If the dampers are inverted, the damping adjuster is on the bottom, underneath the strut.
