Default what rear shockers on a wrx 2002

Hi Guys, it appears that the person who had my car before me did not care much and has only replaced 1 of the shocks on the rear. I do not have much money to spend so i am looking for the best fix, i am looking to buy 2 new shocks for the rear but should i go for standard aftermarket ones from an autofactors or is there something else out there that is a better alternative and will not break the bank? I have also been thinking about some apex springs or prodrive (these are cheap on the bay) 20-25mm lowering set, any thoughts?

KYB Excell G struts from www.camskill.co.uk will probably your best bet as far as those go... KYB make Subaru's struts - IIRC they're around £140 per pair.

I have Prodrive springs on my 02 WRX wagon and I'm very impressed with them - useful handling improvement without destroying the ride.

Eibach or Prodrive springs. Both made by Eibach, slightly different spring rates
