Default coilover spring question

Hi

i have a set of KTS coilvers on my classic,
the problem i have is that they are a bit to hard ride
i have had them set up and he said the springs are to hard

i was just wondering if there is anyhwere that will sell a set of softer springs ?

and do they need to be KTS springs or will other coilver springs fit ?

thanks

All you need is the inside diameter of the springs, the spring free length and the spring rate you want. You can fit amy make of springs, give Alyn at AS Performance a bell with the above info and he will sort you out. Or drop him a PM on here he posts as Stockcar

However depending on the spec of the damper and how stiff the current springs are and how soft you end up going, the damper might not be able to go soft enough to accomodate the spring. You might be overdamped if you put too soft a spring on there. Also, depending on how much travel that damper has, you might hit coilbind pretty quick if you get a much softer spring at the same length you currently have. you might have to fit a slightly taller spring and that might also not be possible depending on the travel of the damper.

Not as easy as just fitting new springs.
