Default trouble with coilovers, please help

hi all, i recently bought a classic wrx and its been fitted with some fully adjustable apexi type R coilovers, however its an unbearable ride, seriously hard and imposible to drive on roads, does anyone know anything about these coilovers or how to make it a softer ride?
is it just a matter of dialing down the spring using the adjuster?
only reason i ask is that the top mounts are fully adjustable too and i didnt know if this would affect the camber?
thanks for any help

You should be able to adjust the adjusting ***** at the top of each strut to make them softer.

But if the springs are tooooo hard it will only help a bit, and you will need to change them

I bought a set of AST coilovers off a hillclimber for my classic, 60 front 50 rears .. ( forgot units, kg/cm I think ? ) and they were way too hard.
Went to 50 f 40 r still v hard but manageable... then sold car!
