Apex Gen 2 / BC Coilovers Leaking
I don't know if this is a common issue/fault but I have found that both the front Apex Gen 2 coilovers are leaking from the top on my Spec C.
I bought the car with the coilovers already fitted and they were ok but recently I have noticed a small amount of fluid pooling at the top of the strut.
The coilovers are about 2 years old and to be honest I am surprised that they have failed so quickly, I know that the warranty is 12 months but surely the service life of these must be longer than that?
I have phoned Apex and they can supply replacment struts for £84 each which to be honest is quite reasonable but I don't fancy having to keep renewing them after another 2 years or so. I haven't checked the rears yet but I hope that they are not in a similar condition.
Have any other users of Apex Gen 2 or BC coilovers suffered from similar failures?
