Looks a bit flimsy to me where the pink bracket is bolted to the bar.

Cant imagine it would exert much force.

If your going to buy a strut brace buy a Summit Racing one. they are about 3 times the price but they are the real deal.

A couple guys on DirtyImpreza.com reviewed the cheap Ebay braces. Though they are cheap and the brackets ont eh strut tower braces is thing they agreed that it helped make the car feel more solid. and there was some talk on NASIOC on how to weld some extra material onto the mount to sure it up. I bought one for my last impreza...found it on Ebay for $10 plus 15 shipping..

I have pretty much the same brace, but for a Newage car; works really well with my coilovers and once its all tightened up its uber secure and not going move unless placed under extreme amounts of stress.
Turn in and all round handling has been improved no end
