Hi every one. My cv boot has split and im getting a clunking noise when steering left (or full lock right) its been this way for a couple of weeks now and i cant afford to get it mended untill at least 2 weeks away. I was wondering, as its my daily driver, if its going to be dangerous to drive and if so how will it be?

Can't comment on what the clunks mean or on the danger of driving the car, but in Australia, we used to carry grease and cling film for emergency repairs to split CV joint boots when we were way up wup wup, beyond the black stump, up in the donga.
