Getting fed up with strut replacement
Hi,
My Hawkeye WRX is now one month out of warranty. And I've just heard from the dealer that my front struts have failed for the second time. The rear ones have also been replaced.
The car has done 37,000 miles - road use only and is fitted with Prodrive springs.
Unless Subaru offer to pay for replacements as a "goodwill" gesture, then I'm going to be the best part of £800 out of pocket (including laser alignment).
All I want is a suspension set up which is durable, reasonably comfortable and gives me good handling.
I can see plenty of sets of coilovers which I can get for £700-£1000, which might last a bit longer than the Scooby parts.
Trouble is, I don't know which ones to go for.
Any recommendations would be very welcome.
Regards
