Default ARB droplink question

I am going to fit a front 22mm ARB on my 96 WRX and whilst changing the oil I noticed that my car has alloy wishbones and therefore does not have the plastic droplinks but has the metal links with a balljoint at the wishbone end. Do I need to change that link or can I keep the one fitted?? (I will be fitting a 24mm ARB on the rear with solid droplinks and H/D mounts).

Thanks

Just a word of warning if this is for a road car and yout going to fit the whiteling solid drop links......I fitted them on mine but the design is not for the road and hence does not have dirt seals. This meant mine were completely dead in less than a year! my loss - hopefully your gain.

cheers

What do the whiteline drop links look like? are they the same as the standard ones with a balljoint at the bottom? The whiteline ones I have seen are for the steel arms and don't have the balljoint but I have never seen a pic of the alloy arm versions - if they are not suitable for the road, what are the options? Do all STis suffer if they fit solid droplinks?

You are right, you did send me the pics - As they look the same as the steel arm types I didn't take in the fact that its only the holes that are different sizes. I now see the difference between the road ones and motorsport ones - Thanks.

I am still deciding on whether to use the Whiteline items , I am concerned that the whiteline products don't seem to have a reputation for resisting the crappy English roads???

Only the mo'spo' items, I killed a set and Whiteline replaced them, then they died and Geo sold me the road version.

Silence restored.

CDF droplinks are also worth a look.
