Default Removing Prodrive springs

I am having a little trouble getting the springs of some Blobeye STI suspension.
I struggled and got the little plastic cap off, but the bolt underneath just isn't moving, am I just being soft? Should I bully it off or is there some special technique that I am unaware of ?

Also have I compressed the spring enough?

Thanks in advance for any help

hi mate, is it the top nut? the one with the allen key in middle? if so i had to make up a socket held with mole grips, then an allen key through the socket. then undo. Get me?

Cheers Lee,

I don't really get you, but it sounds complicated enough for me to get someone else to do it

Thanks

Sacrifice a socket and put 2 flat edges on it so that you can get a spanner on it, then you'll be able to get at it with the allen key. You may have to hold the whole shock in a vice.

I used a deep reach ring spanner
