will someone please tell me im not mad but I could swear a retarded monkey has been under my scooby!!

enough griping all I need a sanity check: the story goes..

Ive had my scooby (04 STi) for about 3 weeks and Im driving at low speed over bumpy ground and getting a quiet knocking noise coming from the rear curb side, hmmm I think better have a look at that and much to my annoyance I discover a different color spring on the problem corner - black as opposed to the red prodrive ones on the other 3

so does anyone know if this is a standard spring (black with what looks like one yellow and one orange finger print on it) also when jacked up the last couple of winds dont seem to open as much as I would expect??

would this cause a knocking noise aside from the extra strain on the anti roll bars etc..

does anyone know a good sus specialist near pompey that will do warranty jobs?

and any advice on trackable sus because I can see whats going to happen...

I think you have got the same as a lot of newage owners have got (including me) the rears start to knock as there is a floor in the design of the shock..

Search for a thread lower down in the suspension folder and you will find info in the BC's Knocking thread..

Sounds like in the past it has gone before and warrenty has replaced one rear spring/shock and it has gone again, I certainly would look into ditching what you have got and speaking to Bren@Apex to sort you out a proper setup and geo setup afterwards from someone near you.. (cant help there though as i live in guernsey so dont know who is good or not)
