Lowering a 4 door UK MY98
Any advice ? My car will shortly be running on 17's. I don't want to "slam" the car, more of a subtle drop.
I'm a bit of a novice to this modding lark, but what springs would you advice for a drop of say, 50mm. Not bothered about new shockers, just springs. And if you knew any prices that would be even more helpful.
Thanks

If the shockers are standard and you want to put 50mm lowered springs on, you could have trouble with the shockers reaching their full compression much sooner than they should.
I am running H&R springs with 19's on a 4 door uk MY98, and had to get the rear arches rolled due to rubbing. Had 18's on before and they were fine. Eibachs will lower the car, but it's not enough for me. H&R's are in between hardly noticable and slammed. (Eibachs and Coilovers)
Scoty.

Hiya!
50mm will look
.. but drive
.. on this fair island anyway!.. with our lovely roads!
Eibachs or similar are the way to go. Not a huge drop but enough to improve the look of the car without you having to check the A-Z for speed bumps before setting off!

Cheers
