I have a MY05 STi. Last night as well as fitting other parts I fitted a Whiteline front anti roll bar and links. I'm not sure everything is as it should be as the bar is only a couple of millimetres from the links. Admitted the suspension is hanging down in the photo but I can only see things getting closer as the weight goes on. Here's a pic of the offending area:

The bar part number is BSF36XZ and the links are KLC32. I'm not convinced they are correct, I checked the Whiteline website and can see the parts listed but it only shows the links on a standard bar.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Also before I fit the rears I'm not sure they are both correct, the bar is a SB37XZ and the links are KLC26. Can anyone confirm these are correct before I fit them?

Hi Barry
As far as i can see the KLC32 are for classic uk turbo not newage sti like yours.
This something i found on Milsports website regarding newage sti.....
Whiteline heavy duty alloy or spherical bearing "FRONT" drop links. You will have to determine which type your car requires by checking the standard equipment, if your car has "plastic" OEM parts you will need to order KLC30, if your car has "ball joint" OEM parts you will need KLC39 (adjustable spherical bearing replacement)
Hope this helps
Graeme

Not exclusively, KLC32 fits MY05 STi lots of people have them fitted. Only point to consider is whether
suggest they can only be used with OEM ARB ?

KLC32 is the right type for your car with the alloy bottom arms or you can go with the klc39 spherical type which will drive you mad with the noise they make after a while, and apparently you have to grease them regularly to keep them working fine
I did a bit of searching when i changed all mine found this regarding the klc30 and klc32:
An explanation of the differences in the application of Impreza front end links kits KLC30 and KLC32 follows:
Length: The length of both types is the same.
Hole Diameter:
KLC30: Top 8mm. Bottom 10mm
KLC32: Both holes 10mm
KLC30: Replacement end link kit for OE plastic type end links as fitted to "most" vehicles with steel front lower control arms.
KLC32: Replacement end link kit for OE ball joint type end links as fitted to "most" vehicles with alloy front lower control arms.
I have the klc32 fitted with a 22mm whiteline (bsf33 (z denotes adjustable) anti roll bar and they fit fine.
Why dont you but the bottom bolt through the other way so it wont hit when i comes down, If thats the problem?

From: Slowly rebuilding the kit of bits into a car...
I've binned my spherical drop-links as they aren't up to the great British climate, Whiteline even set me a new set..... and they only lasted a few months before the knocking started again, even with monthly maintenance.

All sorted - I hope. Big thanks to Graeme and Kevin from Whiteline UK. Once i've got the parts in and on I'll post the solution but at the moment it does look like the front bar is too wide, as said above BSF33XZ being the one for the job along with the KLC32 links.
Again, as above, spherical links not for road use! Not here anyway.
Thanks for all thoughts and experiences - we always get there in the end!
Monday for the parts - I'll let you know how it goes.
Cheers
