Default BC Coilover Settings

Getting a set from the group-buy. What settings / ride height do people use? I'm running 18" wheels so want a hard setting so I can lower to fill the arches without rubbing on the inner lip on the rears (fronts seem ok on current suspension - the tired rear shock have too much movement in them - hence the change). Any help greatly apprieciated

I bolted mine on straight from the box, but it was too low.

Raise the height by approx 10mm (IMO)

Cheers Gary. What hardness setting did you use? I've heard people refer to the adjustments as 'x amount of clicks from soft'.

Apex reckon you need at least 8 clicks from soft to get enough damping, I was running 6/5 on mine and it was very soft but not controlled enough Now I'm at 12 on the front 10 on the rear and it's fine

Generally you want to run harder (sometimes significantly harder) rates at the front than the rear.

Bump.

There are loads of people in the groupbuy and it would be interesting to see what settings they will be using!!

I am running 15 front 14 rear on my otherwise standard hawkeye wrx, it's great when roads allow but it is quite hard for daily use so i might soften it a bit.

Just changed to 15 front and 10 rear, which actually (and strangely) seems easier to use daily than 10/5- I read here that someone went for slightly harder settings and it smoothed things out.

Even on 0 these are a lot harder all round- but all in worth it.
