Default Extenders for BC shocks

I'm due to have some BC's fitted this week and the garage fitting them is getting some of the extenders for me but they've not fitted them before so they are a bit unsure about them.

Has anyone got them fitted on their car, if so where does the adjuster locate too? If anyone has got a photo that would be a great help.

Cheers guys.

Nice one mate, it looks like they come between the seat and the shelf so presumably they are removeable without leaving holes?

Yeah i decided not to cut holes in the rear shelf as they fit pretty well as you see. Some people do cut holes but i never saw the point

Yeah i did the same as bodski. Just fit them between the back of the chair and the parcel shelf. They are dead easy. undo worm screw, put on existing know, do up worm screw. done.

U will also have to cut them to legth. or well i did anyway. Again easily done.

On the newage I cut slight slits in the parcel shelf where it hooks under the seat back, to allow a straighter routing, if I ever remove them the slits will not be visable.

They got fitted today with out issue, the garage didn't cut the rear shelf which I'm happy about. I'm not too fussed by this but the extenders seem quite long, almost long enough to touch the rear window, are they available in different lengths or can they be cut down at all?

They can be cut down to length, mine are left as standard and about half an inch from the rear screen, they've never touched the glass whilst driving as i left them alone

I've had a look at them this morning and they are definately closer than half an inch but they are quite flexible so I've just bent them over and tucked them behind the seat, easily pulled out for adjustment when necessary.

Please excuse the poor phone photos
