Default d2 coilover help

got a wrx nug eye with d2 coilover on it. rear passenger side when going slow sounds like rubber on metal "squeaking", when going faster dont notice it. also when cornering rounf a roundabout it then sounds like metal on metal, but had wheel off today and theres no sign of anything rubbed!garage checked it all out and said it was all safe........any ideas? off to france with it next sat so wanna get it sorted.

i have the same suspension on the same car. I removed the rubber isolators between the coil and the top/bottom of the coil on all 4. I also removed the shaft boots because all they did was collect dirt in them and made my first set blow the seals from the dirt that just filled up in the boots. Just remove them and the isolators and you will notice the difference it makes. Adds a bit of stiffness to them because the rubber isolators are really soft. What happens is that when you go around the corner and put pressure on it the isolator is getting squashed and is squeaking on the metal metal surfaces of the spring and top plate. If you do not want to remove them, you will need to take them apart and grease these surfaces.

thanks for that. just ordered a set of the bc coilover son the group buy. i aint mechanically minded enough to do all of wot u said.lol
