Default Tein lowering springs

Hi i was just wondering peoples experiences on tein lowering springs , i have a 99 spec uk turbo 2000 and was wanting somthing to improve the handling whilst also enhancing the look slightly , not after anything too harsh as i have my first child on the way

Thanks in advance James

The Tein SS 2" drop are for looks only, handling wise they are a bad option, go with a reputable 1" drop and you'll be OK.

I have the Tein S, drop by 35mm... Improved the looks no end, handling also improved along with a decent setup. Its not to harsh but you cant take speed bumps like you can on the standard setup. I would like to see Prodrive springs tho on my next car, not quite as low at 25mm but maybe these would be a good compromise....

Ah just noticed you have a 2000 model, best to ask the dealer. If the same springs fit that are on newage cars then yes you always see a set on here or ebay. They are only £200 new from the dealer to. The coilover groupbuy going on at the mo is a very good deal, if i needed new suspension id be going for that :-)
