Im currently sat on BC Racing coilovers, but want to tighten up the car a bit more, give it less roll etc. Was looking for advice on the best methods people have gone too for this on their new age scoobys? As im pretty new to Subarus, and its a minefield for different tolerances etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you couldn't stiffen the BC's a bit more ?

1. Rear ARB and drop-links will keep the rear flat through corners and help the front turn-in properly.
2. Polybushes - a good idea if yours is getting on a bit, or has done a high mileage.
3, Front ARB - increases front end grip - and reduces the effect of 1.

They're on their hardest setting all round, but i was going to enquire about stiffer springs, (the full track springs they offer)

Though its mainly the roll i want to get rid of, just to get a bit more feel through the wheel, and make it more flickable if that makes sense?

 

I'm on the BCs along with Perrin 25mm Rear ARB with Stout mount, 22mm Front along with Perrin solid Droplinks front and rear. PSRS (anti lift kit) and Sub frame lockdown kit. Makes for a tidy handling car, speak to TSL for details.

 

You could fit stiffer springs, but the up-graded ARB's will reduce roll even further, mine was quite "drift-spec" with the rear bar only, but has more grip and is more neutral now the front bar is on. (I'm old and can't rely on catching it in time....).

Fit the rear bar first and tune the handling, especially if you feel it is stiff enough already.

do your ARB's + drop links first - everyone iv spoke to said its the best thing they ever did

Its for track and daily use, but i really want to focus on Track.

I think i will start with a rear ARB and drop links, and go from there.

Been told White line are the way to go when it comes to ARB's, any more on this? And if not, what brands should i be looking for?

drop links are up to you, whiteline solids are stooopidly expensive, iv got powerflex solids at the back and whiteline Wire ones up front, as the fronts need a bit of flex i was told.

 

If it's not too far, I recommend a phone call and a visit to Carnetix in Melton Mowbray. They will sort your car how YOU want it.

Have you had the geometry done?

 

If you are a "rock ape" stick to a 22mm rear bar, if you are fast and smooth go for a 24mm bar, I fitted Whiteline, best value mod on my car, but the paint finish is at best temporary.....

The finish on my Perrin ones is still looking as good as new. Give TSL a ring they are usually willing to do a deal for a Scoobynet member. Yes they are more expensive than Whiteline, but the quality is second to none
