Default sti drop links

i just got some powerflex drop links for my 04 sti and the guy fitting them tells me they are the wrong ones. mine are straight and the powerflex are curved like a c shape. i spoke to the compamy a got them from and they tell me powerflex do not make them for my car. can i get any other brand as i dont really want to replace them with the standard plastic ones

There are only 2 rear droplinks AIUI, the C-shaped plastic ones (you have the powerflex replacements for) and the later Steel ones with balljoints at each end, if yours aren't the former, they must be the latter (and not plastic!).
