Bracing the to bulk head
See this is a lot on lancer evo's where the top strut bar is also fixed to a point on the bulk head
is there any real advantages of this - if i were to do this would i notice a difference from running a top strut brace without bulkhead fixing?

Hi back again....
IMHO, yes it would help.....BUT
1. Is the bulkhead stiff enough to help rigidity ?
2. Is something in the way of any securing fasteners for the extra mount.
3. Not actually needed ?
dunx

The standard strut brace on the wife's JDM Celica goes via two mountings to the bulkhead, its a good thing to do IF there is something there to bolt it to, as it will stabilise the front end (stiff bulkhead will aid strut brace, a soft bulkhead be stiffened by the strut brace!)
