Okay so my suspension is really annoying me now. Took the car to an event last sunday where I had to drive over a grassy field and through a few lumps & bumps. The suspension was clicking and knocking like mad from all four corners. The noises are quite loud considering I was crawling along at 5mph. I have experienced these noises before mainly from the front end at slow speeds and particularly when changing from forward to reverse gear on full lock, like parking. I had a garage look at everything and check for play and apart from 1 tie rod showing minimal signs of wear, they said it was all fine. Its fine on roads under normal driving conditions, the odd knock on roundabouts maybe, but beginning to push on a bit the knocking starts. Obviously its a bit embarassing and worrying to passengers who assume the car is unfit for the road! Could this be arb droplinks? The suspension is completely standard uk turbo 2000 but I do have bugeye wheels. I have ruled out cv joints as the noises arent regular it definately occurs when you induce suspension travel. Any thoughts before I start throwing money at the problem?
