That's about what I paid for my Hawkeye.
I would have to say that they are a bit noisy(rumbly and rattle) apparently due to the slightly shorter length. Took a bit of time for them to seem any lower.

I've got these fitted to MY03 PPP, very happy for everyday use, for more extreme driving I would have gone stiffer, but then again I prob would have gone coil overs if going down that route.
The drop isn't dramatic, but looks better than standard. The ride isn’t really affected in a straight line, but it does go some way to prevent the bouncing effect you get from the front when cornering hard.
4 out 5 for me

glad you're sold on the idea too, about to order a set myself!

having searched around, most people reckon they're good for general use and strike the right balance between ride and handling. let us know what you think, cheers

I would agree with this, got them on my 02WRX and they have made a nice improvement. They seems a bit less crashy than the standard springs, and feel as if they are 'heavier', in a good way! The only downside is that I have to take speed humps even slower than I used to, there seems to be a little less travel than the standard ones.

Make sure you get them fitted by someone who can do a proper geometry setup at the same time - you need to get this done as lowering the car alters the geometry. Having this set up well (i.e. not standard!) has probably improved things as much as the new springs.

And no, you haven't wasted your money! Have you got uprated drop links and ARB's as well though, this also makes a big difference for not much money.

Then do it

Seriously, this will make a bigger difference to the handling than springs, plus you can fit them yourself if you know one end of a spanner from the other.

Ok springs now fitted and it already feels a lot better in the corners, plus the springs ended up only being £190inc. Drop links and brake upgrade next.

enjoy!

tsl aren't sure they have enough time on a saturday to do new springs, wheels, and alignment together, so gonna risk my dealer fitting the springs at service time just before.

do you think that will be ok, as tsl will do the alignment one week after (and potentially correct any errors)?
