Question

Chaps,

Have been meaning to get round to replacing those NASTY OE plastic rear ARB drop links....

with something decent but the only thing that most people seem to sell is the Whiteline/MRT kit....

which whilst doing the job, is........nasty

anybody got any other recommendations that include the drop links and bushes (preferably, ones that don't increase NVH too much)...

Anyone?

Matt

I got the whiteline ones - they're not blue, but they look the same as these.

Re. NVH - anything stiffer than the original plastic ones will increase it - I guess that's why Subaru fitted the plastic ones

While NVH does increase, it's not a huge amount.

Richard

Dowser,

I know that NVH will increase, I'm just after something which will not be *too* much harsher than currently - The Prova links look nice but they don't have bushes, they have rose joints (with lots more NVH).....

Try powerflex bushes, I think David Power (at Power Engineering) sells complete kits.

Thumbs up

I had Whiteline links put in a week ago by those nice chaps at Powerstation. No, they aren't blue (anyway, who gives a rats what they look like as long as they do good a job, which they do - you have to strain somewhat to see them ) and no the NVH doesn't really increase all that much at all.
I had Eibachs, links and ALK done at the same time; the bloody thing's a tarmac magnet now

Does changing the drop links make a noticable difference?

Andy,

in a word yes. It allows the ARB to load up quicker.

Why not try the Sti links. They're a similar design to the OE ones but stiffer bushes.
