You will need to get the alignment done after fitting.

cant give you any technical advice mate but i have them fitted so this is how it should sit once they're fitted

It really is a straightforward job. The only thing's to be aware of is that you'll need to remove the rear seats to get the rear shocks out, and the spring cups on the front are eccentric and not concentric. Just make sure they are pointing with the largest side out when they are refitted. Other than those little peculiarities they are no different to any other macpherson struts.
