do they make a difference to the handaling also are they easy to fit

Doubt you would even notice, given the amount of rubber in the suspension.

hi m8 the purpose of the brace is to stiffen up the chassis across the alk mounts to the rear wishbone fixing. it acts like a strut brace underneath triangulated between 4 mounting points.,it stops chassis flex under severe cornering forces and allows for a more rigid set up .the front x members on classics are known to flex, thats why on new age cars the unit was beefed up and another subframe added for strength .
these x braces are light ,strong and designed to give maximum benefits for low weight .thats why companys like whiteline ,perrin cusco to name a few build and design them
you can fit the unit in 30mins a DIY job
