My need to be rebuilt & may need bits & bobs, could end up with a total outlay of e.g. £400 plus inc purchase price.

Far better IMO to get brand new set of cheaper coilovers e.g. Apex BC /Gaz/ etc @ RRP of approx £500

thanks for the reply ' i ws thinking thew same it is just a risk as you don't know the cond till you recieve them / try them on the road '

do you know of any fixed height kits avaliable with damper adj ' as i know of people claiming coilovers are real rough for daily road use and from experience of coilovers in my glanza.

i can't seem to find anywhere that do fixed suspension kits ?

The Apex coilovers can be bought in different spring rates which can make them less hard, though they will probably still be firm

I bought a set of HKS coilovers around 4yrs ago...I paid serious money for them and had them on the car for a total of 7 days before taken them off...They were way too hard for road use...Look at buying something else is my advice...Alan...By the way got EXE-TC now and these are ace

i personally think the bc coilovers are a little strong money wise,,,, i was thinking about getting em but they dont come with adjustable top mounts and there aint a real history with em for the cash they seem to request, people on here rate them though and they seem to be fitted to a few high profile cars aswell,,,,,,, but also look sponsered by them
