Question 2003 Impreza WRX STi Type Uk rear Shocks

Hi,
Probably been asked a million times, but here goes................

Can any one tell me where to get some rear shocks from for my 2003 Impreza WRX STi Type Uk? Subaru have quoted £830 fitted, but don't want to spend anywhere near that, as a mate can change them for me for next to nothing.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Adam

I heard KYB shocks, but can only find them on ebay and not sure how secure they are as sellers............................

The yanks have found that stripping the rear struts from the lower housing and regreasing before reassembly cures the rear knock very effectively!

But if the top bush is worn out then new grease will only work for a while.

Indeed, it does depend on the root cause of the knock (and there are a few!)
