Question

I have heard Imprezas can be set up with Prodrive settings which helps turn in & quell some understeer, possibly helping sideways travel.
Is it right that yu can obtain some kind of additional bolts for the rear suspension to sort this and also something about dropping the steering rack.
spoke to a dealer re above & got impresion he would be happy to sell me something but didnt know what it did.
I also heeard the relevant bits can cost up to 300 notes from dealer but there is somewhere happy to set car up for a hundred quid.
can someone help, cos i would like my car to lean towards oversteer a little sooner.

Crikey

Long time since this was covered. Bugger search

I think the answer technically is that you are unable to adjust the rears without the expensive bolts, BUT there is some adjustment in them, which alows a change of setting.

There is quite a bit in the SIDC Faq including the Prodrive Settings.

Works nicely for PTMW!

Oh yes. The steering mod can be done by Powerstation, down the M6, M5 from you in Cheltenham. Costs about £100 & you can get the PD settings dialed in at the same time.

Not had that done.

Just go to the wreckers and buy the front camber bolts and use them in the rear.

Plus any alignment shop will have them, and they are not expensive.

Cool

Cheers for advice so far folks.
Do we actually know what dropping the steering rack actually does, can it help feel etc?
Question for guy who had settings done in Scotland; how much you pay for this & does the car oversteer more?
