any one running a lowered classic on 215/45/17?

Default any one running a lowered classic on 215/45/17?

as above really i have speedline wheels and 215/45/17 i know they are not the correct size but i got the bargin of the year mint wheels used on track for an hour with 1 hour old 215/45/17 pirelli P-ZERO CORSA road legal track tyres £220 quid (his 380bhp engine only lasted 1 hour poor mapping he thinks so he broke the car down) any way got an sti v2 wagon and was thinking of just springs as i have adjustable shocks (kyb) but standard sti springs have been looking at eibachs or tein but think tein would be to low on these tyres ? can anyone help didnt want to waste any money really

I used to have new age bug eye wheels on my V3 Wagon Sti 96, 215/45/17 and it drove fine. Car also has 25mm RS*R lowering springs on stock STi shocks with no rubbing. Actually drove better than with the original 16's on, a lot smoother on bumps and more comfortable but I didn't like the loss in acceleration due to larger radius and greater drag (wider tires) and was also more wollowy due to stock suspension.

Now running the stock 16's again with RE10 tires, tires are awful and tram line bad but going for some proxeys when they ware
