Default Classic Suspension

Got duff rear shock absorbers on my 96 UK spec so looking to take the opportunity to upgrade the springs and shock absorbers. Car is only used for fast road use and I want to keep an acceptable level of comfort.

Lots of people seem to recommend either P1 or STI Ver5/6 suspension. Getting my hands on these is likely to be difficult (any ideas?) and the shock absorbers are likely to be past their best.

Thoughts are to attempt to find secondhand springs from one of these models but not sure about shock absorbers. Seen comment about KYB (although not mentioning model) being good.

Any thoughts/recommendations?

David at APi can source you P1 suspension I believe mate.

If its any good to you, I have a complete set up off my UK MY99 (low mileage -42k- and no trackdays) going for £120.

MY99 stiffer than MY96 I believe, but still perfectly comfortable for day to day use.
