Knocking on back suspension..??

Knocking on back suspension..??
Hi,
Got an 2003 (53) STI8 JDM, got a knocking on the back drivers side and it seem's to be coming from the top of the suspension, i get this when driving or if i push down on the back wing/boot.
Has any one had this problem..??
Do i have to buy a compleate new shock..?
Where is the best place to get one, and would it be the same as a uk STI8..?
Any help would be much appretiated

Very, very common! I had/have the same problem, I attempted to fit a UK strut to my car last week, but soon found it was the wrong one. The 'faulty' one was refitted and the knock was gone, no idea why. If you get a replacement that WILL go to at some point.
