I'm pretty new to this car modification business as I've always had a company car in the past, so I've got a few questions on front strut braces.
- Are they worth it, or just cosmetic ?
- Whats the benefits ?
- Does undoing the strut mount bolts affect steering geometry ?
- Whats the best procedure for fitting ?
- Best to do on a level surface unjacked ?
- Will it invalidate Subaru warranty ?
- Will I need to have tracking re-checked ?

From reading previous posts on here I think you will only benefit from a strut brace if you are planning to spend more on your whole suspension setup.Run the standard kit with a strut and you wont see much or even any difference.
But they do look nice dont they?Especially the carbon fibre ones,.....now wheres my credit card?!

Unless you have other suspension work they will not do much.
If you suspenstion is stiff then the strut towers flex that is because there is not much give in the suspension, a brace stops the struts from moving in on each other during cornering.
