articulated gizmos on MY07 WRX transverse suspension link
what are these approx. 60 mm long 'articulated gizmos' that link between the transverse link (one side only but both back and front suspension) and the body.
they have electric plug connections so they are obviously measuring suspension movement.
are they to inform the Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) of the load distribution between the back and front?
just curious because i had to unbolt them when putting on the solid front drop links - and like to know what things do?
thanks in anticipation.

yes, i bolted everything back when i had installed the front drop links.
the 'gizmos' must measure the movement of the transverse link but to where do they send this information?
never had these on my 2001 WRX but that did not have EBD either.
