Camber bolts in the wrong way?
I just had the car back from getting the geometry set up, and noticed the rear wheels didnt look quite right, so went for a drive and the driver rear still rubs, where as the passenger used to rub not the driverside.
I did ask for around 1degree negative all round which should pull the wheel in a bit, but it looks like its got a slight positive camber.
i checked the bolts and the tab on the camber bolt is facing out, it should be facing in for negative and out for positive camber.
will this make any difference at all to the camber, or amount of camber on the wheel?
Have a look here if it explains better:

If the fitter follows those instructions, all will be well.
Sounds like you need to take it back for checking.
Can't imagine the fitter would have one side on posative camber!
His alignment machine would have told them the setting.

When i took it in before he had a bit of trouble getting the bolt in the right way, but it did go in.
Thats what i dont get, it would show on his machine if its wrong.
Would it make much difference if the tab is on the wrong way?
And if the camber needs to be set again can it be done by itself or will everything else need resetting?
The car seems to drive fine, but it just doesnt look right and it hits the arch a bit now.

The human eye is amazingly accurate, and many can 'see' (sense?) there is a discrepancy by the way the car sits (on level area).
The machine will show the angles if electronic. It will not if mechanical most likely.
Best take it back. The Impreza is very accuratly made, and if the arch to tyre clearance is vastly different from side to side, then things prob are not right unless the car is bent.
